BMDV invites us to a conference

The Federal Minister for Digital and Transport, Dr. Volker Wissing, invites to a specialist conference.

Background: The initiation of the funding programmes ‘Innovative Port Technologies (IHATEC)’, ‘Digital Test Fields Ports (DigiTest)’ and ‘Digital Test Fields Waterways (DTW)’ a few years ago opened up the opportunity to develop a large number of innovations to increase the attractiveness of waterways as a mode of transport and to test them under real conditions.

The specialist conference ‘New technologies and test fields for waterways and ports’ will take place on 5 and 6 October 2023 at the Federal Waterways Engineering and Research Institute (BAW) in Karlsruhe.

Here, the Federal Ministry for Digital and Transport (BMDV) will provide a platform for industry and science to present initial results from the funded projects to the public and to discuss future mobility on the water.

CoboTank will of course be represented with its own stand and will show a scaled model of the possible cobot accompanied by a video animation. Neighbouring CoboTank at the stand will be its partner project portskill 4.0, with which CoboTank is developing virtual test scenarios for the operation of the cobot.
