CoboTank meets PortSkill 4.0

The representatives of the PortSkill 4.0 and CoboTank project consortia met today at Port of Hamburg Marketing office in Hamburg's Speicherstadt district. Both projects are funded by the IHATEC II programme, set up by the Federal Ministry for Digital and Transport (BMDV) and aimed to discuss future cooperation oppertunities.

Together with colleagues from PortSkill 4.0, a joint training scenario will be designed and developed in the digital test and training centre (DTTC). This shall prepare forkforce to future work requirements at tank terminal, in which the cobot of CoboTank could be a a central element. For the CoboTank project, this will provide valuable insights into the design of the collaborative robot and human-machine interaction.
