Deymann Tankrode Logistics GmbH (DEY) represents the Deymann shipping company, which was founded in 2003 and has grown steadily since then by specializing in inland tanker shipping. The fleet of the company, which is based in Haren an der Ems, comprises 40 tankers, container- and cargo ships. Routes cover the European waterways between the ZARA ports in Belgium and the Netherlands, the Rhine, the North German canal area and the Elbe. A wide variety of goods are being transported- not least for well-known chemical-, and mineral oil companies and large container shippers.

As the operator of a tanker fleet, the developments towards automated inland shipping are particularly challenging against the background of the special legal, technical and organizational requirements. Reederei Deymann is committed to entering the field of automated inland tanker shipping and is actively shaping developments in this area by participating in the CoboTank project.
