A cobot to support the loading process of tankers

The Cobot supports you in optimizing the following target values:

• Increasing efficiency by reducing the amount of work and time required
• Physical and mental relief for staff during the loading process
• Increased process reliability and reduced susceptibility to errors
• Reduction of risks to the environment
• Information technology networking with other systems

On September 4, 2023, the test center for innovative port and handling technologies (HaFoLa) will be officially opened at the DST - Entwicklungszentrum für Schiffstechnik und Transportsysteme e.V. site in Duisburg.

For the development of the semi-automated cobot, the corresponding tests will be carried out at HaFoLa from fall 2024 on a scale of 1:10.
